The Craft
Four hands, four stages.

The Material
Hides are selected by hand from CITES-certified tanneries in France and Italy — only the calmest grain and most even scale patterns pass.

The Cut
Each panel is cut single-piece, aligned to the natural spine of the skin so the pattern flows uninterrupted across the finished object.

The Stitch
Saddle-stitched with waxed linen thread, two needles, one seam at a time. A stitch that cannot unravel — only a machine can promise faster.

The Finish
Edges are sanded, layered and hand-painted in up to seven passes, then burnished until glass-smooth. Hardware is set last.
